This guide provides information on how to reference using the APA 6th edition referencing style. PLEASE NOTE: Theology students should use Chicago Footnote Style

How to reference government publications

In-text reference

According to the Board of Studies (2012) ...

OR

... as it had been identified (Board of Studies, 2012).

 

Reference list

Use the government department or organisation name as the author if no other author is listed.

If the author and publisher is the same organisation then write Author in the Publisher field.

Surname, Initial. (Year). Title of publication. Place of publication: Publisher.

Board of Studies (2012). English K-10 syllabus. Sydney, NSW: Author.

 

In-text reference

 According to the NSW Government Education & Communities (2013)...

OR

... as it had been identified (NSW Government Education & Communities, 2013).

 

Reference list

Use the government department or organisation name as the author if no other author is listed.
