Introduction to Chaplaincy

Recommended resources for Chaplaincy students at Morling College.

Resources for Different Chaplaincy Fields

Chaplaincy is a widely varied field and comes in many flavours. A school chaplain will have a very different experience to a hospital chaplain, who has a different experience again from a prison chaplain.

Your studies are designed to teach you advanced knowledge and practical skills in the key components of spiritual care across the lifespan. Morling specialises in Aged Care, Pastoral Care and School Chaplaincy; however, you may be interested in other chaplaincy contexts.

See the tabs down the side for resources on and employers in Pastoral Care, Educational and Healthcare Chaplaincy; some other, more niche resources are listed below.

General Industry Bodies

These industry bodies provide resources to support chaplaincy generally, and may provide accreditation or professional development programs.
