This guide provides information on how to reference using the APA 7th edition publication style

The Director is credited as the author. Put the word Film in square brackets after the title. If the format or version is significant for the citation, include a short description after a semi-colon.

YouTube video (APA7)

YouTube video (or other streaming video)

Reference list

Use the screen name of the person who posted the video on YouTube as the author. Copy the name exactly as it appears on YouTube, including lowercase letters and spelling mistakes.

Podcast (APA7)


Reference list

Some podcasts may have information about the presenter, producer, writer, and so on, whereas others may only list the presenter or only the producer of the podcast. Include as much information as you have from the website or app where you downloaded the podcast but do not feel you need to search for additional information to complete the citation.
